Blokker | Creative concept for HQ opening celebrations

In January 2019, Blokker’s head office moved from the Van der Madeweg to the Hessenbergweg in Amsterdam. La Plume Media was asked to come up with a concept for how Blokker could mark the opening of its new premises with a playful touch. Because Blokker ‘belongs to everyone’, La Plume Media wanted to have the employees at the head office open the new premises themselves. Initially, the plan was for all employees to carry the well-known orange Blokker period, in the form of a three-meter tall ball, to its new home: from the Van der Madeweg to the Hessenbergweg. In the run-up to the day of the opening, employees would find a gadget on their desk every two weeks, as a hint to the activity: a hat, scarf, gloves… Unfortunately, however, circumstances prevented the ball-rolling activity so, instead, a QR game was held at the new building, which allowed employees to get to know their new workplace in teams. The event also included the presentation of a video, conceived and produced by La Plume Media, saying goodbye to the old building and with the head office employees in leading roles. The video was based on the “Blokker heeft het in huis” (Blokker’s got it all) commercial. Compare the two below!
