Ferring B.V. is a biopharmaceutical organization that does more than just supply pharmaceuticals. Among other things, the company publishes the medical journal ‘FertiFocus’, which is full of interesting stories about research, innovations and experiences written by and for fertility specialists. The La Plume Media team produces this magazine on Ferring B.V.’s behalf and handles the entire process: from interviewing doctors, patients and researchers, to writing, designing and editing.

Recently, we enjoyed working on the fifth edition of FertiFocus. We interviewed fertility doctors about intimacy in fertility couples and spoke to four gynecologists about the process of setting up fertility clinics and the differences between clinics in the Netherlands and Germany. We also talked to fertility patients about the impact of COVID-19 on their desire to have children. The end result was a magazine that we are proud of!
