La Plume’s very own Veerle Focke has been nominated for the Haarlem Entrepreneurship Awards (Haarlemse Ondernemers Prijs, HOP) 2020! After several rounds, including a pitch to the professional jury, Veerle was selected as one of three finalists.

Veerle Focke: “When I heard that I’d been nominated for the Haarlem Entrepreneurship Awards 2020 a few weeks ago, I felt extremely honored. It’s super special to be recognized in this way for my work and indirectly also to be able to put the hardworking team at La Plume in the spotlight. The fact that I am now in the finals and can share my story with a few hundred people on April 6 is just amazing. I’m really looking forward to it – and to an exciting evening!”

During the final on Monday, April 6 at the Van der Valk Hotel Haarlem, Veerle will compete against Gerard Koelewijn (Easypers) and Marijke Mul (Marijke Mul Goudsmid). Will Veerle follow in the footsteps of top entrepreneur Laura van Dijk (2019) as the winner of the Haarlem Entrepreneurship Awards? We’ll find out at the finals!
