DON (Diabetes Research Foundation Netherlands) has been around for 15 years! This, in combination with the launch of new research into type 1 diabetes, is great cause for a celebration. Which is why the foundation hosted a party for its donors in November: a charity event to raise money for a new DON research project.

Such an important occasion naturally called for a high-quality invitation. La Plume Media got to work and created a striking video, which was sent to (potential) donors as an invitation. The adjacent image provides an impression of the decor. The video shows Prof. Dr. Eelco de Koning (Professor of Diabetology) in a laboratory (left), Floor Dijkgraaf (Director of DON) at the DON office (center) and Peter Frans (DON board member) in his kitchen (right). Although, in the video, the participants are made to look like they are phoning each other about the planning of the anniversary party from their respective locations, as soon as the decor changes, viewers see the three of them standing inside the submarine hangar in Rotterdam – where the fundraiser event is set to take place in November. La Plume Media was responsible for conceiving and producing the video.
