For more than eight years, La Plume Media has produced the magazine MDL-Life on behalf of Ferring Pharmaceuticals. The magazine is full of stories shared by people with Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis – chronic inflammatory bowel disease.

They make it clear that the diseases do not prevent them leading their lives exactly how they want. For the most recent edition, we spoke to Bart, an underwater welder with Crohn’s disease, and Kenny, who didn’t let his temporary colostomy bag put a stop to his intensive exercise routine. In addition to these positive stories, MDL-Life also includes medical articles.
