Virtual conference for LAM Research

LAM Research is an international company with over 12,000 employees that designs and manufactures chips.

Because the multi-day conference that LAM hosts annually could not take place physically this year, the company hosted a webcast in late May to connect with employees.

La Plume team member Veerle traveled to Fremont, California for the two-day broadcast to direct the show and do the final editing for the event. Working alongside NEP and MediaMonks, she put on a stunning virtual event. She wrote the complete script for the production and was responsible for the content on the virtual platform. During the event, participants were able to take a virtual walk around a digital world and visit different stages, watch live content and attend keynotes. In the process, they were also able to interact with each other and enjoy entertaining content during the breaks. In order to get employees worldwide involved in the virtual conference, the program ran day and night.
