It’s time to find out who has been crowned Haarlem entrepreneur of the year. The winner was announced last Monday during the final evening of the Haarlem Entrepreneurship Awards (Haarlemse Ondernemers Prijs, HOP) 2020.

At Hotel Haarlem, the three finalists, including Veerle from La Plume Media, competed for the prestigious title. The finalists had worked towards the final for months, showing their best, most entrepreneurial side in podcast interviews, video clips and financial inspections, among other things. The competition was brought to a close at the final night with a pitch from the three finalists, followed by questions from the audience and the expert jury.

After some deliberation, the jury announced the results: Gerard Koelewijn had won the Haarlem Entrepreneurship Awards 2020. We’d like to congratulate him on winning this well-deserved accolade! We are also are very proud of our Veerle who, in a resounding pitch, explained the importance of internal communications and elaborated on how La Plume Media has been helping companies in this regard for thirteen years. We can look back on a great contest and raise our glasses to the future.
