Pre-recordings ASML Technology Conference

For many years, NEP – a leading international player in high-quality TV and webcasts – has hosted ASML’s Technology Conference. La Plume Media meanwhile has enjoyed taking on the responsibility for the script and for directing the show for almost as long. This year, La Plume team member Veerle once again threw herself into the script, with Gert-Jan directing the event and team member Carmen Veltman coordinating the pre-recordings of the presentations for the event – of which there were more than fifty!

Commenting on her experiences, Carmen says: “I spent two weeks at ASML’s headquarters in Veldhoven, in the southern part of the Netherlands. For these two weeks, the building’s auditorium was completely transformed into a studio setting with a green screen, so that we could shoot the pre-recordings of the presentations for the virtual event there. As Content Manager, I was responsible for coordinating, planning and scheduling these recordings. I also supervised the speakers on the days we were shooting and took notes for the editing process. All the editing of the 52 presentations we recorded was done in Hilversum and I went up there for a content check a few days before the event, to make sure all the edits had come together right. It was an intense run-up to the event, but it meant we really achieved something!”

Thanks in part to Carmen from La Plume’s efforts, the virtual event – featuring a unique hybrid stage for the first time this year (unfortunately, we can’t share any more information than that) – was a huge success!
